I had a little chuckle to myself, when i saw the photo of Brian cradling a pint pf beer. Back in the late sixties early seventies, neither he nor Penny were drinkers. In fact when I first took Richard to meet them in their home in Heathfield, we were offered fruit cup or water. However, one Christmas here at Manor Farm he was not very well, and my father offered him a brandy or two. The medicine worked and he never looked back, enjoying a beer or glass of wine at all occasions. (Sorry family you've probably heard that story many times)

Over the years, we enjoyed short breaks away with Penny, Brian, Judith and John, and our Christmases together were legendary when all the children were younger, full of fun happiness and memories.

Brian was a calming influence and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He is sadly missed.
